Publishing

As well as publishing our journal, CactusWorld and yearbook, Bradleya, the society also publishes a range of informative books and leaflets in order to educate about and disseminate information on cacti and succulents.

Through the expertise and contacts developed in publishing our journal and yearbook, the Society is well placed to assist authors to bring their books to market. We have the in-house expertise to take a book from the manuscript stage to printers proofs, with the added advantage that the people doing the work understand the subject and the target market. In order to maintain the high standards we set ourselves, the Society limits the number of books published each year to ensure they get the best treatment possible and to maximise sales. Through our world-wide membership, contacts in the hobby and relevant traders we can ensure your book gets maximum exposure and sales.

It is important to note we are not a commercial publishing house, we only publish books and other items that fit with our objectives as a charitable organisation.

Additionally we happy to work with partners such as Kew Publishing to enable larger books such as Aloes: The definitive Guide that would otherwise not be published to reach a wide audience.
